Most of what the self-help / wellness world tells us is that we need something from outside of ourselves to make our lives better. And though we will need external support at various intersections in our lives, learning to make educated choices from within ourselves is what empowers us to navigate our unique journeys from a more whole and connected place. A balanced Human Needs Ecosystem is at the foundation of a well-lived life.

Sometimes it is very clear when a particular area needs filling or emptying. Other times, it can be less clear because we may be experiencing a form of depletion or exhaustion that comes either from not being filled up enough or from being overfull. Surprisingly, too much and too little can feel a lot alike!
