2021 Wellness Retreat

The 2021 retreat will include daily yoga and meditation, deep relaxation, ample opportunity for quiet, relaxation, and hiking. To provide additional opportunity for introspection, quietness and mindfulness, we will be incorporating morning silence each day until after meditation and breakfast are complete.

All of our meals are being planned and prepared in-house. All food is intentionally sourced and farm-to-table as available. And it is all incredibly fresh, delicious, and nourishing. The menu will be customized for our retreat, so dietary needs will be incorporated.

Emotional Wellness w/HYPE RVA

HYPE debuts a new series in 2019: Wellness. Young professionals often struggle with the active process of becoming self-aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. Wellness is more than being free from illness, it is a dynamic process of change and growth: a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. We’ll explore Physical, Financial and Mental Wellness across the second quarter of 2019.

Let’s cap off the HYPE Wellness Series with a little self-TLC! Ellie Burke is a certified life coach, yoga and meditation teacher, and the Jedi master of her profession. Having been through her fair share of difficult life circumstances and internal turmoil, as well as incredibly rich and beautiful life experiences, she always seeks out answers to the big life questions. Drawn to philosophy, exploring the edges of life and understanding suffering, she started exploring the physical practice of yoga and meditation and helping others. She’ll share with us her thoughts on self-care, which she deems to be less about bubble baths and more about living life to the fullest. Touching on how to intentionally exclude or include parts of your life in the quest and how to not burn out at work, or personally, you’ll leave this session in a better place than when you walked in!

2019 Wellness Retreat

This year's retreat will include morning and evening meditation + twice daily yoga classes; group coaching around your own personal commitment to wellness; ample opportunity for quiet, relaxation, and meandering through the 50+ acres of meadows and woods.  To provide additional opportunity for introspection, quietness and mindfulness, we will be incorporating morning silence each day until after meditation and breakfast are complete.

All of our meals are being planned and prepared in-house at Bliss Farm by owners Kelly + Frank. We will have coffee, tea, fruit, and smoothies in the morning plus lunch and dinner. All food is locally sourced, organic and farm-to-table as available. Fresh, delicious, and nourishing.

This year has an optional Deluxe Add-On Wellness Package which includes a private group session in Asheville’s Salt Cave, a 1-hour massage or Reiki session on-site, and two Wellness Coaching sessions with Ellie (one during and one after the retreat) to help you get clear and stay focused on your wellness goals.

Annual Spring Yoga & Meditation Retreat

The 2018 dates have been set for our annual Spring Yoga and Meditation Retreat! Join us April 12-15 in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, just a few miles outside of Lexington, VA, at the incredibly special Heartstone Lodge. The main lodge where we will share our meals, practice yoga and meditation, and relax by the fire is a beautiful, rustic converted 150 year old dairy barn. 

This year's retreat will include morning and evening meditation, daily yoga classes, as well as an opportunity to do a deep-dive "Posture Lab" workshop with me. 

All of our meals are being planned and prepared in-house by the fabulous Mary Silcox. Mary is returning to provide us with the most delicious and exceptionally nourishing food for our retreat. All meals are vegetarian and dietary restrictions or needs will be honored and incorporated.
